Requiem pour un smartphone
On Sunday 10 November at 6pm, as part of the Festival des Solidartités, the museum will be welcoming Emmanuel Lambert from the Bulles de Zinc company for a shock show entitled ‘Requiem pour un smartphone’.
In putting on this show, the Bulles de Zinc company aims to raise awareness of the issues surrounding the industrial production of smartphones. This hard-hitting show engages the audience in an individual and collective reflection on the consequences of the over-digitisation of our societies, based on three life stories, all linked to the coltan mines in the Kivu region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Lasting 1 hour 15 minutes (followed by a discussion), this free show highlights the devastating effects of smartphone production on the environment and on the local populations exploited by mineral-producing countries.
Please note: the show is exclusively for the over-15s.
Reservations must be made with the museum (limited to 100 places).
This show is exclusively in French.
