THE MUSEUM AND ITS SHOP ARE OPEN
- • Continuously from 10 am to 5:30 pm (closed Tuesday from september to june and January 1st, May 1st, December 24, 25 and from December 31 to February 28).
- The evacuation of the museum galleries begins at 5:15 p.m.

Guided Tours
Every weekend at 3 p.m., the museum’s staff invite you to discover the Treasure of Vix.
For about one hour, immerse yourself in the Celtic world of the Early Iron Age (800–52 BC). From the burial of the Lady of Vix to the princely city of Mont Lassois, explore remarkable archaeological finds and deepen your knowledge of the museum’s Celtic collections.
Every Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Free admission – No booking required – Open to all
Please note: the guided tour is conducted in French only.
No guided tours during the European Heritage Days on September 20 and 21, 2025.
The museum may cancel tours in case of events or staff unavailability.

How do I validate my Pass?
1/ I buy it at one of the sites concerned.
2/ Present the Pass at the reception desk at each site.
3/ The site stamps the Pass and gives it back to me so that I can take advantage of the offer at the next site.

All areas of the Musée du Pays Châtillonnais - Trésor de Vix are accessible to people with reduced mobility, as are all activities, shows, and events.
All areas of the museum are accessible to wheelchair users and, a lift provides access to the different levels.
Visit tools :
Wheelchairs and seatsticks are available on loan from reception for visitors who require them.

Visitor aids are available for visitors who are visually impaired or blind. Logos indicate tactile works.
A sensory discovery of the museum through the collections, using original objects and copies to be handled in the company of a guide, is also available (on request from accueil@musee-chatillonnais.fr or +333 58 95 80 11).
> Please note: part of the temporary exhibition "Marc Bohan: the Dior Years" is only accessible via a staircase.
