
European Night of Museums
Join us at the Musée du Pays Châtillonnais - Trésor de Vix on Saturday, May 17th, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the Night of Museums! During this event, the museum will feature screenings of short films in the galleries. Artist Malo A., the animal painter who created the artwork for the “De plumes et d'Or” exhibition, will be present to discuss her techniques, inspirations, and career path. She will also show a video summarizing her work.

The Magic Lantern – Museum of Cinema in Europe and the World
Among the objects belonging to Marshal Marmont on display at the museum is a small magic lantern. Regarded as a precursor to the modern cinema projector, the magic lantern was used for over two centuries to project images—ranging from fairy tales to scientific lectures—onto walls and screens.
These films will be screened continuously during the evening.
