Catherine Blachet, known as CatArtSis, creates profoundly original, colorful, and enigmatic works. Her art emerges from an intimate dialogue with the world and with herself—a pursuit that goes beyond mere decoration to touch what is essential. Her painting does not simply adorn the world; it seeks to reveal what lies beneath appearances, in the light, the silence, and the unseen details.
Her creations are born from a close connection with nature and with her inner self. Walking through the forest, feeling its textures and scents, letting the air and calm act as a soothing balm… each canvas becomes a path, blending energy and lightness, where fullness and emptiness intertwine, revealing what remains hidden behind the light and in the quiet corners of silence.
For CatArtSis, colors are bridges between the real and the imaginary: they tell what words cannot, they vibrate, inspire dreams, and touch the heart. This approach was recognized with the Châtillon-sur-Seine City Hall Prize at the Chamesson Autumn Salon—a deeply moving moment that brought a surge of confidence and reaffirmed why she paints: to share, to feel, and to transmit emotion.
Each work is an inner forest, a space of healing and resilience, traversed by childhood memories and by the power of colors and forms, inviting contemplation, reverie, and escape.
"The work does not change; it reveals itself differently."
